The ULTepap™ is a reusable EPAP solution for treating mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea. As an Expiratory Positive Airway Pressure (EPAP) device, and not Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), it does not require a hose, blower, humidifier or filter. It is a simple, comfortable and portable way of treating mild to moderate OSA, and may lead to higher compliance than CPAP.
The way the ULTepap™ works is simple. When you inhale, the patented Rashidi-Sleeper valve collapses, allowing you to inhale with no resistance. When you exhale, the valve inflates, which causes you to exhale through a series of small grooves. This creates back pressure, which opens your upper airway.
On the next inhalation, your airway stays open so no apneas can occur.
The ULTepap™ is held in place by a lightweight headgear.

The ULTepap™ does not require a power source, and can be used as a direct substitute for CPAP, or as a compliment to CPAP when there is no power source, such as camping or travel.
