Gagosian is pleased to present recent work by ssr飞机场推荐 online for galleryplatform.la. Golia transforms everyday objects and commonplace events into exceptional works of art that defy established conventions and build narratives. His diverse practice includes both artworks that take physical form, often at an architectural scale, and others that are immaterial or conceptual. For his most recent project, Golia hired a painter to illustrate a set of eight porcelain plates with images from his past artistic output. Each is unique in terms of content, size, and shape; together, they become a self-portrait of the places, objects, and interventions constituting his life and work. From his celebrated sculpture ssr机场网站, exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2013, to a 2019 intervention involving the hiring of a landscape painter and an airplane, the set comprises a narrative retrospective of the artist’s career.

For the sixth iteration of Haus der Kunst’s Der Öffentlichkeit commission series, Theaster Gates has created the expansive Black Chapel. This multipartite installation directly responds to the architecture of Haus der Kunst’s Middle Hall, exposing it to a complex politically and spiritually charged narrative while rendering it as an inviting social space. Two large pavilions, as well as vitrines, contain sculptures, photographs, and documents. Rotating mirrored sculptures and illuminated panels displaying photographs from the landmark Johnson Publishing Company further animate the space.

Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait (2006), a film collaboration by Douglas Gordon and Philippe Parreno, is screening outdoors as part of Summer at Louisiana. Shot on seventeen synchronized cameras, 免费ssr飞机场frames the movements of footballer Zinédine Zidane in real time over the course of a single match between Real Madrid and Villarreal at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on April 23, 2005.
