Without the health authorization, entry into the country will be denied by the immigration authorities. The re-opening of the St. Maarten ports of entry will happen in a phased manner and will be continuously monitored by the Government of St. Maarten and the Department of Public Health. The Government of Sint Maarten reserves the right to amend these conditions at all times when circumstances require such. The travel requirements may vary and depend on the risk status of the country where you reside and also whether you have visited other countries in the past 14 days prior to travel.

Surveillance through self-monitoring is required for all travelers originating from or who have visited a moderate or high-risk country in the past 14 days. There are quarantine and isolation procedures in place for persons who are waiting on their test result respectively test positive and/or develop COVID-19 symptoms during their stay. For visiting cruise tourists who remain for a half day or less on the island, other regulations apply.
