At the School of Public Health, our academic programs and initiatives evolve to meet pressing public health issues, to better equip our students for the workforce, and to reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion. Several newer MPH concentrations - Physical Activity, Health Equity, and Health Policy Analysis and Evaluation - address important public health needs. SPH graduate students may also earn a Global Health Certificate, while courses offered jointly with the University of Maryland School of Medicine broaden student perspectives.

While our School of Public Health launched in 2007, we are built upon a foundation of disciplines that have a long and rich history at the University of Maryland. As such, we celebrate the thousands of Terps who have graduated from our legacy departments as well as our recent SPH alumni.
